Daphnée Lanternier is a multidisciplinary creative director and visual artist whose practice is built on a simple belief: the strongest ideas are carried through every stage of their execution. Working across live performance, music, fashion and contemporary culture, she develops projects where creative direction, scenography, spatial design and production are conceived as one continuous creative discipline.

She collaborates with musicians, artists, luxury houses and cultural institutions to create performances, installations and large-scale visual experiences. At the intersection of art, architecture, movement and sound, her work is driven by narrative, materiality and craftsmanship, balancing artistic ambition with technical precision.

Her studio develops projects internationally across music, fashion, luxury and the performing arts, working with a network of artists, designers, engineers, fabricators and production specialists to bring ambitious ideas into physical form.

For the closing night of the Montreux Jazz Festival, Mark Ronson invited Daphnée Lanternier to develop the creative concept for Mark Ronson and His Favourite Band Ever. Together, they conceived a show celebrating the musicians who have shaped his career — not only featured artists such as Lucky Daye and Yebba, but also the instrumentalists and players who form his wider musical family.

The stage design was built around an immersive architectural gesture: a ceiling screen clad in a two-way mirror suspended above the audience. Reflecting the crowd and the light, it became both a decorative element and a scenographic device.

At key moments, content appeared across the ceiling, shifting the atmosphere and introducing live imagery that brought the performers closer to the audience. Mark Ronson’s DJ table, positioned above the crowd, completed the sense of immersion and proximity.
